Men today are in a battle. It's a battle without bullets or bombs, but a battle all the same. It's a fight for our families and our future. Facing the battles of life demands courage, and courage is the ability to do the hard thing in every circumstance, despite the cost.
Winston Churchill said, "There comes into the life of every man a task for which he and he alone is uniquely suited. What a shame if that moment finds him either unwilling or unprepared for that which would become his finest hour."
FAMILYLIFE put hundreds of hours of planning and thought into DVDs and workbook for this 10 week series. The Stepping Up video series dives deep into the topic of biblical manhood, calling every man to reject passivity and step up to lead with courage in all areas of life. In ten sessions, participants of this men's small-group study are challenged to strengthen bonds with fellow group members, form godly habits, claim more personal victories, share testimonies and ongoing experiences, and establish accountability with other men.
Session titles are:
Most men want to change something in their lives, but taking the steps to do so maybe too daunting. Some have no idea where to begin. Each week we will be identifying what needs to change in our lives.
Let me ask you "What's the MOST courageous thing you've ever done?"
Many men, myself included, find it difficult to identify acts of courage while slogging through the daily challenges of home, work and community. Yet these are the very battlefields where courage is demanded of us everyday. The enemy is always trying to attack and deceive us.
Do you have your godly armor on? A battle plan?
The commitment:
Are you ready to step up your game to be a better husband, father, friend, worker or follower of Christ?
Then come join our men's fellowship, I promise you will not be disappointed.
